## Overview

Coordinating group polls allows you to propose multiple meeting times, share a single link with multiple attendees, and let participants vote on the slots that work best for them. Once everyone has weighed in, you can easily check schedules, review availability, and confirm the winning time slot.

This guide walks through creating meeting polls, managing participant votes, checking conflicts, and finalizing the meeting.

## Creating a Multi-Attendee Meeting Poll

To set up a poll for multiple participants, you need to propose potential meeting times and optionally invite specific guests.

1. Navigate to the **Meeting polls** section in your dashboard and click **New poll**.
2. Give your poll a descriptive title and select the meeting duration (e.g., 30 minutes, 60 minutes).
3. Choose the target calendar where the final meeting will be booked.
4. Review the automatically generated smart time suggestions or click through the interactive week view to pick up to 5 potential start times.
5. (Optional) Add specific guest email addresses so you can track their individual responses.
6. Click **Create poll** to generate a unique voting link.

> [!TIP]
> The app automatically highlights "also good" spots on your calendar and provides reasons for why certain times work well (such as fitting neatly between existing meetings).

---

## Sharing and Participating in Polls

Once your poll is created, you can distribute the voting link to your participants.

* **Sharing the Link:** Copy the unique poll link from your poll dashboard and send it via email, chat, or any messaging platform.
* **Guest Voting:** Participants do not need a user account to vote. When they open the link, they can view the proposed times in their own local time zone and select which slots work for them.
* **Tracking Progress:** Your poll dashboard shows a real-time tally of who has answered, who is still pending, and how many votes each proposed time slot has received.

## Checking Conflicts and Confirming the Winning Slot

When responses have rolled in and you are ready to finalize the meeting, you can review the results and lock in the winning time.

1. Open your poll from the **Meeting polls** dashboard to view the time slots alongside participant availability.
2. Review the availability indicators next to each time:
   - **Everyone:** Marked when all invited guests can make that slot.
   - **Busy indicators:** The system checks your calendar for conflicts. If you are busy during a proposed slot, a warning indicator highlights the conflict.
3. Click **Confirm** next to the preferred time slot.
4. In the confirmation dialog, verify the list of invited participants and decide whether to include any unlisted answers who submitted availability via the public link.
5. Click **Confirm** to finalize the choice.

> [!WARNING]
> Confirming a time automatically books the event onto your connected calendar and dispatches calendar invitations to all participating guests.

> [!NOTE]
> If your calendar account becomes disconnected or shows a conflict for the winning slot, you can reconnect your calendar in Settings or use the **Confirm anyway** override option if you choose to double-book.
