## Overview

Booking links give you personalized public URLs that clients, colleagues, and guests can use to schedule meetings directly on your calendar. You can create multiple links for different meeting types (such as a 30-minute introductory call or a 60-minute strategy session), set custom availability rules, and share your links via direct URLs or embedded widgets on your website.

This guide covers how clients interact with your booking links, how you manage your confirmed bookings, and how to share your links effectively.

## How Clients Book Meetings with You

### Understanding the Booking Flow
When someone opens one of your booking links, they visit a public booking page designed to streamline scheduling across different time zones.

### Selecting a Date and Time
* **Time Zone Detection:** The public page automatically detects the visitor's local time zone so they always see correct, localized times. Visitors can also manually switch time zones using the time zone selector.
* **Smart Availability:** The page checks your calendar availability, working hours, and away periods in real time. Unavailable days are automatically disabled or greyed out.
* **Buffer Times:** Automatic buffer periods before and after meetings are factored into available time slots to prevent back-to-back scheduling overload.

### Completing the Booking
Once a visitor selects an available time slot, they enter their name, email address, and any optional notes. If you configured custom questions for that specific booking link, the visitor will be prompted to answer them before confirming.

### Confirmations and Calendar Invites
After the guest submits the booking:
* A confirmation screen appears immediately with the meeting details.
* Calendar invitation links are provided so the guest can add the event directly to their preferred calendar (**Google**, **Outlook.com**, **Microsoft 365**, or **Apple .ics** file).
* An automated calendar invitation and a secure self-service link are sent to the guest's email address.

## Managing Your Confirmed Bookings

### Tracking Your Schedule
You can track, review, and manage all your scheduled meetings from your dedicated bookings dashboard.

### Bookings Tabs
Navigate to your **Bookings** page to view your meetings organized into three helpful tabs:
* **Upcoming:** Confirmed meetings that have not yet ended, ordered with the soonest meetings first. In-progress meetings remain visible and accessible here.
* **Past:** Confirmed meetings that have already ended.
* **Cancelled:** A complete history of cancelled bookings.

### Self-Service Rescheduling and Cancellation
Both you and your guests can manage confirmed meetings using secure self-service options:
* **Rescheduling:** Guests can click the reschedule link in their confirmation email or manage page to pick a new available time slot.
* **Cancellation:** Meetings can be cancelled at any time before they end. When a meeting is cancelled, the time slot is automatically freed up on your calendar.

## Sharing Your Booking Links

### Sharing Options
You can share your availability in several different ways depending on where your audience is meeting you.

### Direct URLs
Every booking link you create lives under your unique username (for example, `calendar0.app/book/yourname/link-slug`). You can copy any link directly from your scheduling dashboard and paste it into emails, chat messages, or social bios.

### Website Embed Formats
If you have your own website, you can embed your booking links using three different display formats:

| Embed Type | Description |
| :--- | :--- |
| **Inline** | Embeds the booking page directly inside the flow of your website content. |
| **Popup** | Adds a button that opens the booking page in an overlay modal directly over your page. |
| **Floating button** | Places a persistent floating button in the corner of your website that opens the booking modal when clicked. |

To get the embed code for any link, open your scheduling dashboard, click the options menu on the link row, and select **Embed**.
