## Overview

Connected Apps MCP (Model Context Protocol) allows you to securely link external AI applications—such as Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, and Perplexity—directly to your calendar0 account. Once connected, these AI tools can view your schedule, check your availability, create or update events, search your meeting notes, and share your booking links using natural language prompts.

## Connecting an AI App

You can connect external AI applications through the settings menu or directly from the in-app assistant interface.

1. Open calendar0 and navigate to **Settings**, then select **Connected Apps**. Alternatively, click the prompt under the chat view to open the assistant apps menu.
2. Review the list of available AI apps and select the tile for the application you want to use.
3. Follow the specific setup steps for your chosen app:
   - **Claude**: Choose **Connect** and sign in, then turn it on inside a chat via `+` → **Connectors**.
   - **ChatGPT**: Choose **Add** and sign in, then mention `@calendar0` in a Work chat. (Or add as a custom MCP server using your unique MCP address and OAuth authentication).
   - **Grok**: Go to **New Connector** → **Custom**, paste your MCP address, and approve the connection.
   - **Perplexity**: Navigate to **Custom connector** → **Remote**, name it `calendar0`, paste the address, and approve it in the connector settings.
   - **Other apps (like Cursor)**: Copy your MCP address and paste it wherever your app handles custom MCP connectors.
4. Approve the authorization request when prompted on the consent screen to grant the app secure access to your calendars.

> [!NOTE]
> Some AI apps require a paid subscription plan or administrator approval if used within an organization or enterprise team.

## Managing and Disconnecting Apps

You are always in control of which applications have access to your calendar data.

* **View Connected Apps:** Go to **Settings** → **Connected Apps** at any time to view a list of all currently authorized AI apps alongside their connection dates.
* **Revoke Access:** Click the **Disconnect** (unplug) icon next to any app in your connected apps list to cut off its access immediately. Revoking an application instantly invalidates its session tokens.

> [!WARNING]
> Disconnecting an application is immediate and irreversible. If you wish to use that AI tool with calendar0 again in the future, you will need to repeat the connection process from the beginning.
