## Overview

### What Calendar Accounts Do for You

Calendar0 allows you to bring your existing calendars together into a single unified weekly view. You can connect as many accounts as you need from multiple major calendar providers. Once connected, Calendar0 reads your schedules to display your week, check your availability, and let you manage your schedule using plain-language requests or the assistant.

Supported providers: Google, Microsoft, Apple.

> [!NOTE]
> Your events remain safely stored with your calendar provider. Calendar0 only reads your schedule to display your week and operate scheduling features, and it will never sell your data.

### Connecting Google or Microsoft Accounts

To connect a Google or Microsoft calendar account, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to your **Settings** and select **Accounts**, or use the account setup wizard during onboarding.
2. Click or tap the button for the provider you wish to connect (such as **Google** or **Microsoft**). A secure sign-in window will open.
3. Sign in using your provider account credentials and grant permission to access your calendar.
4. Once authentication finishes, the window closes automatically, and your connected account appears in your list.

> [!TIP]
> Google and Microsoft sign you in directly through their secure authentication portals, meaning Calendar0 never sees or stores your account password.

### Connecting Apple iCloud Accounts

Apple iCloud accounts use a secure credentials dialog instead of a web pop-up window because Apple does not use standard OAuth for third-party calendar access.

To connect your Apple iCloud calendar:

1. Open the account connection menu and select **Apple**.
2. Enter your **Apple ID Email**. This does not need to be an iCloud address—just the email you use to sign in to Apple.
3. Enter your **App-Specific Password**.
4. Click **Connect** to verify and securely store your credentials.

> [!IMPORTANT]
> You cannot use your regular Apple account password here. You must generate a dedicated app-specific password by visiting [account.apple.com](https://account.apple.com) under the **Sign-In and Security** section.

### Managing and Disconnecting Accounts

You can manage all of your connected accounts at any time from **Settings** under the **Accounts** tab.

* **Renaming Calendars:** You can rename individual calendars to match how you talk about them. Your provider keeps its original names, but Calendar0 and the assistant will use your custom names.
* **Health Status:** Calendar0 automatically checks the health of your connections. If an account loses authorization (for example, if a password is changed or a token is revoked), a warning banner will appear.
* **Reconnecting Accounts:** If an account shows a warning or requires attention, click the **Reconnect** link next to that account to refresh your credentials without losing your custom setup.
* **Disconnecting Accounts:** You can remove an account at any time by clicking the disconnect option next to the account email. This immediately stops Calendar0 from reading or modifying that calendar.
