Account Preferences Settings

Overview

About Account Preferences

The Account Preferences settings page allows you to personalize how time, schedules, calendars, visual themes, keyboard shortcuts, and billing plan subscriptions function across the application. Any adjustments you make are automatically saved and applied instantly to your calendar grid, scheduling tools, booking links, and AI assistant interactions.

Timezone, Clock, and Week Start Preferences

Configuring Time and Display Options

You can control how dates and times are calculated and displayed in your workspace.

  1. Open the user menu in the sidebar and select Settings, then navigate to the Preferences tab.
  2. Select your preferred Timezone from the dropdown list. All times in the calendar view and AI suggestions adjust automatically to this zone.
  3. Choose your preferred clock format under Time format (12-hour or 24-hour).
  4. Select which day your calendar weeks should begin on under Week start (Monday, Sunday, or Saturday).

Note

When you first open the app, your browser's local timezone is automatically detected and suggested until you explicitly save a preference.

Working Hours

Setting Your Schedule

Your working hours dictate when new booking links and assistant suggestions begin and end each day.

  1. Go to Settings → Preferences.
  2. Locate the Working hours section.
  3. Use the start and end dropdown selectors to specify your daily schedule (for example, 09:00 to 17:00), or pick a preset button like 9 to 5 or 8 to 6.
  4. Changes save automatically as you make them.

Calendars and Default Accounts

Managing Providers and Defaults

The Accounts settings tab lets you connect, disconnect, rename, and prioritize your external calendar providers.

Supported providers: Google, Microsoft 365, Outlook.com, Apple Sources: app/api/lib/providers/types.ts

  1. Go to Settings → Accounts to view all connected accounts and their health status.
  2. Click Add account to link an additional provider calendar.
  3. Use the Default calendar dropdown to choose where new events and booking links are automatically created.
  4. Under the individual account listings, you can rename your calendars to match how you talk about them. (Note that renaming changes how calendars appear within the app; your provider retains its original name on its own platform).

Warning

If a connected account displays a warning indicator, use the Reconnect option immediately to ensure your calendar events continue to sync properly.

Display Themes

Choosing Your Visual Theme

You can switch between visual appearance themes to match your environment.

  1. Click your user profile avatar in the bottom of the sidebar to open the user menu.
  2. Hover over Theme and select one of the available appearance options:
    • Light
    • Dark
    • System (automatically matches your operating system setting)

Keyboard Shortcuts

Navigation and common commands can be triggered instantly using keyboard shortcuts. You can view the complete list of shortcuts at any time by opening the user menu in the sidebar and selecting Keyboard shortcuts, or by pressing ? on your keyboard.
