Overview
About Connected AI Apps
Calendar0 allows you to securely connect external AI assistants and apps—such as Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, and Perplexity—to interact with your calendar schedule. By authorizing these apps using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), you can ask questions, manage events, search meeting notes, and share booking links directly from your preferred AI assistant.
Supported AI Apps and Connection Methods
Calendar0 integrates with several popular AI platforms. Depending on the app you use, you can connect by clicking a direct link, copying and pasting the Calendar0 address, or configuring it manually.
| AI App | Connection Method | Important Notes & Requirements |
|---|---|---|
| Claude | Link | Sign in and choose Connect. If using a company Claude account, your administrator may need to add it first. |
| ChatGPT | Link or Paste | Depending on your plan, you can either click to add or manually add the custom MCP server. |
| Grok | Paste | Go to connectors, paste the address, and approve. Business/Enterprise plans may require admin approval. |
| Perplexity | Paste | Add a custom remote connector, name it calendar0, paste the address, and approve. Requires a paid plan. |
| Other apps (e.g., Cursor) | Copy | Paste the address into any app that supports MCP connectors and local sign-in. |

How to Connect an AI Assistant
To authorize an AI app to view and manage your calendar schedule, follow these steps:
- Open Connected Apps Settings: Navigate to Settings → Connected apps within your Calendar0 dashboard.
- Choose Your AI App: Locate the app you want to connect (such as Claude or ChatGPT) in the picker menu.
- Authorize the Connection: Follow the specific prompt provided for your chosen app—either clicking a direct link to sign in or copying your unique Calendar0 MCP address and pasting it into your AI assistant's connector settings.
- Approve Access: Review the requested permissions on the consent screen and click Approve.
Note
You must have at least one calendar account connected to Calendar0 before authorizing an external AI app. If no calendar is connected, the system will prompt you to link one first.
Managing Connected AI Apps
You maintain full control over which external apps can access your calendar data.
To revoke access for any connected AI assistant:
- Go to Settings → Connected apps.
- Locate the app you wish to disconnect in your active list.
- Click the Disconnect (unplug) icon next to the app's name.
Important
Disconnecting an app cuts off its access immediately. Its existing session tokens are instantly revoked, and any future requests from that AI assistant will be refused.
What External AI Apps Can Do
Once connected, your AI assistant utilizes secure tools to help you manage your time. With your permission, an authorized AI app can:
- View your upcoming events, daily schedule, and free time slots.
- Create, update, reschedule, or delete calendar events.
- Search through past meeting notes and transcriptions.
- List and share your public booking links.
Tip
External AI apps respect your calendar's privacy settings and operate strictly within the bounds of the calendars you choose to display in Calendar0.
