Overview
The Connected Calendars feature lets you bring all your schedules together into a single, unified week view. You can connect multiple accounts from different providers, manage which specific calendars appear on your screen, control how scheduling availability is calculated across them, and grant access to trusted AI apps.
Supported providers: Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Apple Calendar.
Connecting Calendars
### Overview of Connecting Calendars
You can connect your calendar accounts during initial onboarding or at any time later from your settings. Each provider uses its own connection flow:
- Google Calendar & Microsoft Outlook: Connect securely via an automated pop-up window or through your desktop application browser flow.
- Apple Calendar: Connect using an app-specific password entered directly into a secure credentials prompt.
Connecting a New Account
- Open your app and navigate to Settings > Accounts, or use the account dropdown menu in your sidebar.
- Click Add account or select the provider you want to add.
- Follow the authentication steps for your chosen provider:
- For Google or Microsoft: Sign in to your account and approve the requested calendar permissions in the pop-up window.
- For Apple: Enter your Apple ID email and a dedicated App-Specific Password (which you can generate in your Apple ID security settings).
- Once authenticated, your calendars will automatically sync, and a success message will appear.
Tip
If you connect an Apple Calendar, make sure you use an app-specific password generated at account.apple.com under Sign-In and Security, rather than your main Apple ID login password.
Managing Connected Accounts and Permissions
### Overview of Account Management
Once your accounts are linked, you can customize how they behave, rename them for easier reading, or disconnect them if you no longer need them.
Managing Calendar Visibility
You can choose which individual calendars to display on your main schedule view:
- Use the checkboxes in your sidebar under each account email to show or hide individual calendars.
- If an account has multiple calendars (such as personal, work, or shared calendars), you can toggle them on or off independently.
Renaming Calendars
Your calendars keep their original names by default, but you can rename them to match how you talk about them. Renamed calendars only change how they appear to you inside the app; your provider's original names remain untouched. You can rename calendars during onboarding or later under Settings > Accounts.
Disconnecting an Account
If you disconnect an account, its calendars and events will disappear from your view, but none of your actual calendar data is deleted from your provider (Google, Microsoft, or Apple).
Warning
Disconnecting an account that is currently used by your scheduling booking links will temporarily stop those links from taking bookings until you assign a new calendar to them.
Conflict Settings and Availability
When guests book time with you, the system automatically checks your connected calendars to prevent double-booking.
- Default Behavior: Every connected calendar counts toward your busy time by default.
- Customizing Conflict Calendars: You can toggle individual calendars on or off under your availability or conflict settings so that specific calendars (such as a holidays or personal calendar) are ignored when guests look for open slots.
- Apple Calendar Limitation: Apple calendars are always checked together as an account-level group, so individual per-calendar conflict toggles are not available for iCloud accounts.
Managing Connected AI Apps
You can grant trusted AI applications permission to read and change your calendars using secure authorization workflows.
- Viewing Connected Apps: Go to Settings > Connected apps to view a list of AI applications that currently have access to your calendar account.
- Revoking Access: You can immediately disconnect any AI app from the connected apps manager to cut off its access instantly.
