Managing Event Schedules

Last updated Oct 18, 2026

Overview

Managing your event schedules allows you to effortlessly control your calendar, coordinate meetings, and keep your schedule up to date. You can create new events, edit details, drag and drop to reschedule instantly, duplicate entries, and remove events you no longer need.

In addition to traditional scheduling, you can easily manage meeting video links (such as Google Meet or Microsoft Teams) directly from your calendar events, ensuring that every online meeting is accessible to participants.

Creating Events

You can create calendar events directly from the calendar grid or by using quick-add features.

  1. Click-to-Create: Click on any empty time slot in your Day or Week view, or select a day in the Month view. This opens the event creation dialog pre-filled with the selected date and time.
  2. Fill in Details: Enter the event title, description, location, and desired start/end times.
  3. Save: Confirm your inputs to add the event to your active calendar.

Tip

When creating events, you can optionally request a native video conference link to automatically generate a meeting room.

Editing Events

To modify an existing event, click on it in your calendar to open the event details panel.

  1. Open Event: Click any event on your calendar grid to bring up its details view.
  2. Modify Fields: Update the title, time, description, location, or attendee list as needed.
  3. Recurring Scope: For repeating events, you will be prompted to choose whether your changes apply only to the selected instance or to all future occurrences in the series.
  4. Save Changes: Commit your edits to synchronize the updates with your calendar provider.

Rescheduling with Drag and Drop

You can quickly reschedule timed events on your calendar grid without opening the full edit menu.

  1. Click and hold the event card on your calendar grid.
  2. Drag the event to a new time slot or a different day.
  3. Release the mouse button to drop the event. The system automatically updates the start and end times while preserving the original meeting duration.

Warning

Rapidly dragging and resizing the same event simultaneously is managed safely in the background, but avoid excessive overlapping gestures to prevent temporary rate limits from your calendar provider.

Duplicating Events

To reuse an existing event schedule or set up a similar meeting:

  1. Open the source event details panel.
  2. Copy the relevant details or create a new event using the existing event's time and title configuration as a template.

Deleting Events

If an event is cancelled or no longer necessary, you can remove it from your calendar.

  1. Open the event details panel for the target event.
  2. Click the delete option (trash icon).
  3. If the event is part of a recurring series, confirm whether you want to delete just the single instance or the entire series.
  4. Confirm the deletion to permanently remove the event.

Caution

Deleting a recurring event series or a master event removes all associated instances. Proceed with care when modifying recurring schedules.

You can add or remove provider-native conference links (such as Google Meet or Microsoft Teams) directly from your events.

  • Adding a Meeting Link: Open an event and select the option to add a meeting link. The system will request a conference solution from your calendar provider and attach the generated video room to the event.
  • Removing a Meeting Link: Open the event details and remove the conference link data to clear out online meeting details.
